Duplicating screen to secondary screen

If you plug a laptop into another screen or TV and the screen isn’t showing everything that the laptop is showing, you most likely have the display settings set to extend and not duplicate. Below are the instructions on changing that.

Step 1: Right click on the desktop and select Display Settings.

Step 2: Scroll down within the windows and adjust the display. Click on Duplicate these displays to mirror the laptop. Click on Extend these displays to make the secondary monitor or TV work as an additional monitor. If you only want to mirror the laptop, make sure you select duplicate these displays.

Step 3: Once Duplicate these displays is selected, make sure you click Apply.

Step 4: If a window pops up asking to keep these display settings, click Keep Changes.

Now the laptop screen will mirror whatever is displayed right to the TV or monitor.
