How to Take a Screen Shot using Snipping Tool

Step 1: Click the Search box on your taskbar.

Step 2: Type in Snipping tool and click on the icon when it appears.

Step 3: Select New. This will open a curser for you to cover an area you want to screen shot. This allows you to take a snip of a certain area and not your entire screen. Left click and hold the mouse down to highlight an area. Once you let go a box will appear.

Step 4: Right click on the image to copy it. You can now paste it in an email to send it. You also have the option to Save As and save it to your local computer.

Step 5: You can either select new again to create a new snip or close out of the Snipping Tool.
